Passive voice is a voice that indicates that the subject is the patient or recipient of the action denoted by the verb.

Ø  Rumus Passive :

a.       Rumus dasar  =  To be + V3

b.      Rumus Passive Continuous = To be + being + V3

c.       Rumus Passive Simple Present Tense = Subyek + ( is,am,are ) + V3

d.      Rumus Passive Present Continuous Tense = Subyek + ( is,am,are ) + being + V3

e.       Rumus Passive Present Perfect Tense = Subyek + have/has + been + V3

f.       Rumus Passive Present Perfect Continuous Tense = Subyek + have/has + been + being + V3

1.      – Active voice             : I clean my room every day.

-Passive voice              : My room is cleaned by me every day.

2.      – Passive Voice           : A letter is written by her.

-Active Voice              : She writes a letter.

Active Voice → Passive Voice

1.      A         : He kicks the ball very hard.                                     

P          : The ball is kicked by him very hard.                        

2.      A         : We clean the house every week.                              

P          : The house is cleaned by us every week.

                       

3.      A         : I called my mother yesterday.                                             

P          : My mother was called by me last nigt.        

4.      A         : Bevi ate two hamburgers at a time.                         

P          : Two hamburgers were eaten by her at a time.         

5.      A         : Retno has made many cakes.                                               

P          : Many cakes have been made by retno.                    

6.      A         : Melly had told a nice story to me.                           

P          : A nice story had been told by melly to me.             

7.      A         : Fauzan is writing a book.                                         

P          : A book is being written by fauzan.                          

8.      A         : We were discussing the problem last night.             

P          : The problem was being discussed by us last nigt.   

9.      A         : I will solve the problem soon.                                              

P          : The problem will be solved by me soon.                  

10.  A         : I can borrow these books.                                        

P          : The books can be borrowed by me.                         

Passive Voice → Active Voice

1.      P          : The window is being closed by him.                                   

A         : He is closing the window.                                       

2.      P          : The guitar has been played by them.                       

A         : They have played the guitar.                                    

3.      P          : The lesson has been being written by William.

A         : William has been writing the lesson.

                                   

4.      P          : The door were opened by her.                                             

A         : Desi opened the door.                                                          

5.      P          : A motorcycle had been being ridden by him.          

A         : He had been riding a motorcycle.    

6.      P          : That work will have been finished by them.

A         : They will have finished that work.                          

7.      P          : The house would have been being painted by him.

A         : He would have been painting the house.

A         : They would be playing tennis.

Hello  my  name  Zalia  Anissa  Diwanty. Could  be  called   Zalia  or  Njay. I  was  20  years  old. I  was  a  student  majoring  in  Accounting  at  the  University  Gunadarma.  I  will  tell  my  daily  activities  and  my  hobbies.

Every day  I  always  wake up  at  five  in  the  morning  to  take  the  morning  prayer.  If  I have  a  class  on  certain  days  I  always  got  a  morning  class  schedules,  and  therefore after  my  morning  prayers  bathing,  dressing  and  grooming  to  go  to  college.  Before going  to  college,  I  have  breakfast  first.  I  went  to  college  with  the  motorcycle.  To  go  to  my  college  takes  45  minutes  to  get  there.  

Usually  completed  the  course  schedule, I do  not  go  home  because  I  was  playing  or  chatting  with  friends   in  college.  And  most late  coming  home  at  four  in  the  afternoon.

When holidays  or  no  class  schedule, I  always  help  the  mother  at  home.  Starting  from the  morning,  usually  I  always  sweep  and  in  the  afternoon  I  was  washing  dishes.  If relaxing I  always  spend  time  to  watch  Korean  dramas  such  as  The  Heirs,  Naughty Kiss,  City  Hunter,  Boys  Before  Flowers  and  others.  

I  love  Korean  dramas  because  his  stories  are  interesting,  romantic  and  not  bored  to  watch.  I  also  have  the  idol  from  south  korea  as  Choi  Siwon  and  Lee Min Hoo.  Besides  having  a  handsome  face,  they are  also  good  in  acting.

If  talking  about  a  hobby,  a  hobby  I  love  it  loads,   I  have  hobbies  that  I  will  discuss  are :

My  first  hobby  is  swimming,  swimming  I  think  it's  one  of  the  water  sports  that  do not  get  bored  and  can  add  height.

My  second  hobby  is  traveling,  I  think  it  was  the  activity  that  I  do  not  get bored  because  it  can  see  the  natural  surroundings  that  I  had  never  seen  and  can refresh  the  brain  of  a  crowded  lecture  schedule.

My  third  hobby  is  listening  to  music,  I  was very  happy  to  listen  to music anywhere  and  anytime,  because  listening  to  music  is  the  most  fun  thing  to  do.  In addition  to  feeling  calm,  comfortable,  and  peaceful,  music  can  relieve  stress  or  bored.

My  fourth  hobby  is  singing.  With  no  load  sing  my  mind  could  be  slightly  reduced but  I  am  aware  of  not  having  a  good  voice.  Because  singing  is  able  to relieve  stress  after  a  long  day  of   activities.
